December 15, 1956 — Elvis made his final performance on The Louisiana Hayride at the Hirsch Youth Center, Louisiana Fairgrounds, Shreveport, Louisiana. The now legendary phraise ‘Elvis has left the building’ was first made by Horace Logan on this night.
