It all started when I first saw Stevie Ray Vaughan on stage in Austin City Limits when I was about a hear and a half old. I watched about 10 minutes of it with my Dad and cried when he turned it off and after he figured why I was crying, he turned it back on and I sat and watched the whole concert.
For the next couple of years, I would dress up like the picture above and act like I was putting on a concert complete with rings like SRV wore and a Q-tip hanging out of my mouth so I could look like Stevie Ray Vaughan with his cigarette!
Even though I loved watching and listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan, I have always loved the older stuff even more like Howdy Doody and old black and white TV shows. I bought old shows with my own money like the Andy Griffith Show in black and white and Charlie Chaplin.
